You can find the Broom Mill Day Spa at High Hill House Farm on the B6287 between Ferryhill and Kirk Merrington in County Durham.

From Durham:

Take the A167 south towards Ferryhill, Newton Aycliffe and Darlington. Leave the A167 at Ferryhill and head towards the town centre. Follow the road then turn right towards Kirk Merrington driving through Dean Bank. Carry on for about half a mile then turn right along a single track road signposted for the Broom Mill Day Spa.

From Darlington:

Take the A167 north towards Newton Aycliffe, Ferryhill and Durham. Leave the A167 at Ferryhill and take the first left towards Kirk Merrington at the top of the bank before the town centre. Carry on for about half a mile then turn right along a single track road signposted for the Broom Mill Day Spa.

From the A1(M):

Leave the Motorway at Junction 60 and head towards Rushyford/Bishop Auckland on the A689. At Rushyford take the 4th exit towards Ferryhill/Durham on the A167 Leave the A167 at Ferryhill and head towards the town centre. Follow the road then turn right towards Kirk Merrington. Carry on for about half a mile then turn right along a single track road signposted for the Broom Mill Day Spa.

By Bus:

The Arriva Bus C3 passes the Broom Mill Day Spa.

Every Day 9am - 5pm

Wednesday 9am - 9pm

Thursdays 9am - 8pm

Please note that there are no Spa Days on a Tuesday

How to Book

In order to ensure your choice of treatment is available, please book in advance. All treatment times are approximate. All treatments are subject to availability. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Call 01740 654225.

Cheques and major credit cards are accepted. payment for additional purchases and treatments must be made before departure

Cancellation Policy

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required for all advance bookings. Please note a 48 hour ‘Notice of Cancellation’ is required for all bookings to avoid being charged the full amount.

Reservations made within the 48 hour cancellation policy require full non-refundable pre-payment at the time of booking.

What to Wear

Comfortable clothes at all times. On Spa Days we will supply Dressing Gowns, Towels and Flip Flops. Please bring Swimwear and a hair brush. For all other packages please bring everything you require. Towels and Dressing Gowns can be hired for £2.50.

Treatments

All treatments times are provided as a guide only and take into account preparation, consultation and relaxation. We ask that you arrive 10 - 15 minutes prior to your allotted appointment time.

Valuables

No responsibility can be accepted by the Broom Mill Day Spa for the safety of money or valuables of any kind brought to the property. If you do bring valuable items it is essential that they are covered by your own insurance for the period of your visit.

The Broom Mill day Spa will not be liable, under any circumstances whatsoever for damage, injury or consequential loss, however caused, to our guests, their property and belongings unless it is solely due to the negligence of the organisation, its employees or agents.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in any of the buildings. Designated external spaces are provided.

Alcohol

No alcohol is to be brought onto the premises.

Medical Advice

Certain medical conditions may preclude you from having some of the treatments, or taking part in some of the facilities available here at the Broom Mill Day Spa. If you wish to have a treatment and suffer from any of the following please consult with your Doctor prior to arrival and obtain written evidence of your fitness to participate in treatments.

• You are currently receiving radiotherapy or chemotherapy for the treatment of cancer

• You have had surgery within the last three months

• You suffer from heart or circulatory disorders, high or low blood pressure, epilepsy or asthma

• You have deep vein thrombosis

• Certain treatments are unsuitable for pregnant ladies - please consult with your Doctor prior to booking.

• We regret we are unable to provide treatments if you are suffering from an infectious disease or open sores or wounds.

It is important to disclose any medical conditions or medications at the time of booking. If you fail to reveal any such condition that may impede your participation in treatments/facilities, refunds will not be given.
